John Murray Talks about Abstract Art

Abstract art requires constant manipulation of the material and the viewer.
Yes the viewer must be pushed and abused aesthetically in order for the artist to register both retinally and emotionally.
(Stated from John Murry's Web site.)

miChelle m. Vara from Ballard Road Art Studio is currently working on a metal sculpture serise using recycled metal that inflicts thought on the viewers part,  inspiring emothion for an outcome of reaction. In this case reaction is good no matter what the responce.

Recycled Art Show

Please join us in Schuylerville NY to view the Hudson Crossing Recycled Art- Salon Show
April 1st to May 31st 2013 at Espressohuis- 31 Ferry Street, Schuylerville NY.

If your out cruz'in for the day there's also General Knox and the Train of Artillery sculpture on Rt 4 headed towards Gansevoort NY to stop and see.

I enjoyed the re-acquaintance with Pastor Jason Proctor of the Espressohuis, as I installed 2 small sculpture pieces. The space overlooking the water has good coffee with deep and smooth flavor for us coffee hounds, but also lends its self-atmosphere for art to engage and expose good conversation, in a free environment outside the gallery or museum atmosphere.

A big Thank you goes to John and Phyllis Borel, (Hudson Crossing Park Art Committee) and Pastor Jason Proctor.
